Sumita joined Eat Speak Learn in 2024 after serving as the Director of Kids’ Space OT. With more than 15 years as an OT, Sumita has extensive training and experience supporting children and their families. Using a neuro-affirming, trauma informed framework, Sumita approaches each child with curiosity and compassion, looking beyond behaviours to understand the underlying needs. She believes therapy sessions should be fun and meaningful for the child while prioritising connection and regulation. Sumita is passionate about education and sharing her knowledge with parents, schools and day-cares and other therapists.

Outside of work, Sumita loves coffee, adventures, sunshine and hanging with her family (which often involves being on the side-lines of the many sports her two boys play.)
