Sarah Rabe

Speech Pathologist

Sarah is curious about everything in life and is fascinated by discovering all the things she didn’t know she didn’t know. Whether it be going for a drive to a destination unknown or listening to someone tell their story, Sarah is always alert to an opportunity to understand and help. Sarah may come across as softly spoken but behind the façade there is a prodigious intellect unpacking the nuances of each scenario before her and understanding how it all fits together. As one of her favourite characters says: “Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved” – Winnie the Pooh

Sarah grew up in Canberra and reflects that she was more likely to listen to others than to speak. A rare commodity that explains why she’s chosen a career in allied health rather than politics! Finding her own voice has been a big driver for Sarah to become a speech pathologist. Sarah values the importance of being able to communicate and build genuine and strong connections with those around her from personal experience with family and working in Childcare. While she likes to travel, for Sarah, her motto is “East or West – home is best”
