Cecelia Xu
Cecelia is an early years speech pathologist who joined Eat Speak Learn in 2024 after graduating. Before pursuing a career in speech pathology, she studied linguistics—fascinated by the structure and diversity of languages—as well as early childhood education, where she developed a deep understanding of caring and developmental theories.
With several years of experience working in childcare, Cecelia discovered her ideal career path by combining her passions for caring, education, and language, leading her to the field of speech pathology.
Originally from China, Cecelia brings strong cultural competence and a love for language learning to her work. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean, and is especially passionate about supporting families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Cecelia has a special interest in working with young children and adolescents on speech sound development and literacy skills, including articulation, phonics, and structured writing.
In her leisure time, Cecelia enjoys cooking a mix of Asian, Mexican, and Western dishes, going on road trips with her family, and belting out tunes during karaoke.
