Chris MacDonald
Chris is an owner and Director of Eat Speak Learn. Chris has had extensive government experience working for the Australian Parliament and Community Services Directorate of the ACT Government. A tireless advocate for community engagement, Chris has been a regular volunteer for local charitable organisations, schools and sporting clubs as well as a father to three sons. Chris embodies our motto ‘we’re here to help’ as he strives to ensure that Eat Speak Learn is an industry leader in the way allied health services are delivered. Enthusiastic about innovation, Chris drives the continual improvement program so that we can best meet client objectives in all aspects of service delivery. Chris is always open to ideas about how we can do better for our clients.
Ruby Sheaves-Gibson
Ruby started at Eat Speak Learn as a year 10 work experience student in 2018. Not soon after that she became a permanent member of the Eat Speak Learn team, working in the Client Support Team. She has a passion for children and learning which has led her to her current field of study in a Bachelors of Secondary Education at the University of Canberra. She has aspirations to one day be in charge of a learning support unit in a local school helping kids just like the ones that come through the doors of Eat Speak Learn. Ruby wants every client to feel welcome and special and knows that it takes less muscles to smile, then it does to frown.
Louise
Dent
Louise has been supporting children to achieve their goals for most of her life. She’s had 30 years’ experience in the education system and has been publicly recognised on several occasions for her contributions. But its as a mother and grandmother that Louise has her most cherished roles.
Louise loves her rugby league. After making the move south from the Central Coast, she’s slowly said farewell to the Newcastle Knights and has started supporting the Canberra Raiders. She takes great pride in watching her grandchildren participate in a variety of sports.
Whether it’s sport or child development, Louise enjoys watching the children in her community grow and thrive. Her consistent praise and encouragement never go unnoticed. Getting greeted with a beautiful smile is reward enough. It’ll be no surprise to anyone that Louise’s favourite local haunt is the National Arboretum and the Eat Speak Learn Forest.
