Our primary aim is to support children aged from 3-6 to build their language skills whilst actively participating in shared book reading and a range of structured play activities. Parents are trained in how to engage their child in language development activities including categorisation, sorting, sequencing, following directions, answering questions, re-telling stories and much more.
Together we will explore the ways to make language learning fun at home. This program is delivered by our Speech Pathology team and consists of the following components:
- 8 Group Therapy Sessions with a team of Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants
- Themed homework activity ideas for generalisation of skill to your home environment
Time: 1:30pm Thursdays (Weeks 2-9 of ACT school terms)
